Two bighorn ewes on top of Devil’s Stairsteps along CO 12, Highway of Legends, on Saturday. They were down by the road for a while before retreating to the top ot the ledge. Always great to see them.

North by Southwest, the highly popular and fun new store that went in where Valley Winds and Pine Needle were, had a water problem in that leased space and have now secured the old Tumbleweed building right south of Charlie’s. North by Southwest is moving this week and worth a stop in when they are up and running. Great addition to La Veta!
