Pueblo National Weather service has placed La Veta, Cuchara and the southern Sangres in a Winter Storm Warning running through Monday night. Forecasts call for possibly over a foot of snow for La Veta with higher amounts in Cuchara. PNWS said some areas could get as much as 2 feet. It has started snowing in Cuchara and La Veta by 7 AM, and radar shows the snow settled over the Cuchara Valley.
