It has been 11 years since the 4th of July has fallen on a Saturday, and with all the traditions of the Cuchara Valley’s 4th celebrations, it has caused some juggling. Since it was 11 years, memories of ‘how to do this’ were difficult. Due to all the BBQs and activities in Cuchara on Saturday, July 4, Rotary determined that their annual scholarship fundraiser should be moved to Sunday, during Art in the Park. Get your La Veta Rotary BBQ tickets at Charlie’s in advance or show up. It starts at 11 AM…Art in the Park starts at 10. Be there.
