SIEA, your electric cooperative and supplier, held its annual meeting and the news from that meeting is as follows. Don Keairns, co-owner of Charlies and La Veta resident, was re-elected to a three year term on their board. He represents La VEta, Cuchara and surrounding areas. You may have gotten a ballot with another name on it (not Don) if you pay an annual bill. That group of ’seasonal’ users has another board member who represent you.

Bill Woods, long term general manager for SIEA is retiring and Reginal Rudolph will be replacing him in that position. Reginal has co-op experience and will usher in a new era for SIEA. Bill provided great leadership for decades of growth.
